This charming antique evening bag has a floral cloth body, mounted on a really splendid Silver Plated gate frame. The gate frame is spring loaded and opens when one of the finials on the top of it is pressed, it is decorated with a typically Victorian floral design and features a chain handle, it is lined in Black cotton and the frame is stamped: H. A .D. This is such a fabulous evening bag, just right to hold all your essentials for an evening out, and a beautiful display piece to boot - a rare find in such good condition!
